NEW November 2011
Ok so its been a few months since my last posts. I have been exceptionally busy and most recently ill. I have an asthma problem that tends to kick in towards the back end of the year which results in chest pain and breathing difficulties although this year the asthma part is bad althgouh not as bad as last year (probably due to the last 12 months of hard work in the gym) i have gone and earned myself tonsillitus and a chest infection so as you can imagine im am far from able to carry on at the gym for the next few weeks.
When i return i will be back with a light gym sessions 2-3 times a week to get me back into breathing right and hopefully it should help me get back to normal a little quicker. after that im going on a muscle building mission and would appreciate it if you guys could follow my progress!
I have been a little quiet on the Maximuscle page although you can contact me still if need be. Also Scott Baptie is around on there and is a HUGE help to everyone! http://www.facebook.com/FoodForFitness
I should be all good to go as soon as i am fully recovered... although last year when i was ill it lasted about 6-7 weeks im on week 2 this year and im hoping all my hard work over the last 12 months has shortened the time it takes me to get back in the game. I will train my ass off until i have beat this thing! every year for the last 3 years has been the same although as i said before astma wise its not quite as bad as it was before although it DEFINATLY rules out phisical exercise....even walking is a bit of a task at the moment.
Back soon! Watch this space!!!!!

Hi there!
Welcome to my Blog!
My names Ken.
Im a 24 year old male from Lincoln in the UK
You may or may not have seen me hanging around The Maximuscle FaceBook Page over the last 6 months.
I have had a great time there, helping others out and solving users questions (which has given me a great chance to learn about new things and try them for my self!)
Why?
Good question! and ill tell you why!
Going back to 2005...
My first night shift job at a supermarket (hey its ok! the work is hard but the pay is bad! hehe)
I was a skinny skateboarder with long hair and a guitar stuck to my hip.... I know i know! dont even go there!
But we all change right? and thats exactly what happened to me!
Over the coming years a lot happened ( i got my hair cut for a start) I gained weight, i felt tired and to be honest i felt awful most of the time. Sleep was little and meal times were all over the place, snacking on junk instead of proper foods. This was fine for the first year or so although after a while my body started to get confused and was not functioning right at all.
After around 4 years of it i had to change from night shift onto days. (doctors orders)
and this is where i started (just over a year ago) At first i couldn't really do a diet as my body was being hammered enough from the huge change in sleeping patterns and being ill.
Although a few months down the line i was ready. I joined a gym and worked my butt off at the gym.
This was going to be fantastic! i was gonna feel great again!!! I WAS!!!!!! kidding myself.
I couldn't do it, my motivation went down and getting to the gym seemed like too much of a hard job to do!
I quit.
Without getting too in depth and talking about my private life, I looked into getting help with my motivation, I spoke to doctors and a few weeks later got it back together.
I was back in it, joined a gym that was closer to home and started my journey.
This BLOG is here to show you what you could do, I'm still at it! working hard and logging it here as i go.
I am over halfway to my goals now and id like to help others through their tough times training!
Whether its motivation, gym/workout or supplement/nutrition help you want then i can help.
If i don't know something ill take my own time to go and learn about it for you (which is where i benefit too, i like to learn these things).
Ill be posting pictures in order with dates and captions, so that you can see the changes go from Good to Bad to Better than ever (in the works)
If your still reading and have not yet clicked the litte X in the corner of the page to go to something more interesting then THANKS!
